The Emsworth Food Festival is no
more....... The old once a year format has been replaced by four smaller events
spread throughout the year organised by the
Emsworth Business Association.
These events are be called 'Emsworth
Sunday Markets' and have up to 50 stalls selling goods
in South Street car park.
In 2009 Emsworth Sunday Markets were held on:

Markets
Sunday 2nd August - Emsworth Summer Market
Sunday 25th October - Emsworth Seafood Week
Sunday 29th November - EMSWORTH CHRISTMAS

Sunday 18th July - Emsworth Summer Fair Market

Without doubt Emsworth is the South Coast’s best kept
culinary secret.
This historic, picturesque, old Fishing Village set on the beautiful
Chichester Harbour between Portsmouth and Chichester probably has
more quality restaurants and public houses, not to mention
independent food retailers, per square mile than any other
comparable village in England.
It was thus the perfect setting for what became the region’s leading
Food Festival. Taking place over three days of a weekend in
September each year, this was an event that no food lover could
have failed to enjoy. Whether it was fresh oysters on
the fishing quay, lunch or dinner in one of the village’s
restaurants, or purely strolling through.
